When you connect your phone to either Apple CarPlay or Androi Auto, you can get turn-by-turn directions, make calls, receive and send messages, listen to music and more. Both also use voice controls, so you can ask to call your mom while you are driving.
The 2019 CX-9 also has some great optional features added like Sirius XM Travel Link, a 360-degree exterior camera system, ventilated front seats, a digital gauge display, and power-folding exterior mirrors. Also new for 2019, the CX-9 Signature trim has new wood trim on the inside and new exterior badging on the outside.
When it comes to performance, the 2019 CX-9 has the same great performance that it has had the past couple of years. This vehicle is home to a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. This vehicle gives you 250-horsepower and this vehicle feels light on its feet with a firm suspension and accurate steering. You can also expect to get pretty good gas mileage in the CX-9 with an estimated 22 city and 28 highway miles per gallon.
On the inside of this vehicle, you have three rows of seating, which gives you seating for up to seven people. The seats are roomy and comfortable and there are some great upgrades available like premium Nappa leather seats, heated seats, ventilated front seats, and more. You also get some good cargo space in the Mazda CX-9. You get 14.4 cubic feet behind the third row, 38.2 cubic feet with the third row folded, and up to 71.2 cubic feet of cargo space.
