Mazda Tops Consumer Reports “Best Car Brands for 2021”
Consumer Reports rated Mazda as the “Best Car Brands for 2021.” From 2020, Mazda improved three spots to be ranked No. 1 on Consumer Reports’ 2021 Brand Report Card. Out of seven Mazda models tested, Consumer Reports recommended all seven models. Earning a Road Test Score of 74, Mazda tops Consumer Reports’ evaluation for the Best Car Brands of 2021. How Consumer Reports Ranks Brands
Consumer Reports ranks each brand based on its Overall Score. The Overall Score for individual models is based on four key factors: the road test, reliability, owner satisfaction, and safety. For the Road-Test Score, we put the vehicles we buy through more than 50 tests and evaluations. Predicted Reliability ratings are based on the problems reported by members in 17 trouble areas in CR’s auto surveys.
Owner Satisfaction predictions are based on whether CR members say in our surveys that they’d buy the same vehicle again, if given the chance. Safety includes an assessment of crash-test results and extra points awarded for vehicles that come with proven safety features standard on all trims. Mazda topped the Report on all of these categories.
Mazda CX-9 Recognized by Consumer Reports
Crafted for connection, the all-new 2022 Mazda CX-9 is here. The 2022 CX-9 starts at just $35,280, and customers can get $500 in Owner Loyalty Cash. Giving you the performance you deserve, the Mazda CX-9 now comes standard with i-Activ All-Wheel Drive.
The average seven-seat CUV is out of touch with the road, but the 2022 Mazda CX-9 is on a first name basis with it. Mazda’s standard i-Activ All-Wheel Drive helps predict and respond to traction loss, while the Skyactive-G 2.5 Turbo engine provides effortless acceleration when you need it most.
