Mazda Turns 100 in 2020

The R360 coupe from 1960 is one of Mazda’s most iconic vehicles, and Mazda is giving a nod to this vehicle while celebrating how far this brand has come. They are going this by bringing back the color scheme from the R360 to put it on some specific Mazda models for 2020. This specific color scheme has a white body with a dark red roof and a red interior.
Which 2020 Mazda models are getting this 100th anniversary color scheme? You will be able to find this on the 2020 Mazda Miata and the 2020 Mazda CX-30. There will also be 100th anniversary models throughout the lineup that won’t get this color scheme, but they will get a special 100th anniversary logo and badging.
What vehicles will feature this 100th anniversary logo and badging? According to Autoweek, “While the 100th Anniversary package will extend to all models in Mazda’s lineup, the automaker has not yet made a decision to offer this package in the U.S., due to the coronavirus disruption to the industry. This means we’ll have to wait and see if Mazda will offer them later in the year, as we know that there are quite a few Mazda fans in North America who would love to get their hands on one of these, whether it’s the Miata with a matching dark red roof or one of the new crossovers.”
