Apple CarPlay and Android Auto: Coming to a Mazda Vehicle Near You
Mazda is about to change the way you drive in the future and it is going to happen faster than you think! Just when you thought Mazda couldn’t get any better, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is making its way in the next few months.
It’s what people have been waiting for and we are happy to announce it is finally here! Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is available in some of the new 2019 Mazda models and we have them here at Mazda of Orland Park!
Everything in the new Mazda models will display in the driver instrument panel located in the middle of the car. Everything driving related such as speed and lane assist will remain in the head-up display. This was a way they wanted to keep the driver less distracted on the road.
With just a short press on the main button, the car will bring you to the Car Play/Auto home screen. When it is pressed, the entertainment system will bring you to the latest audio or navigation functions you want to use. All of this is made possible by new Mazda technology!
The new Apple CarPlay will be standard in all trims for 2019 Mazda models like the CX-9. If you currently own a 2019 model like the CX-3, you can get yours included for a small promotional fee until the end of February. Other models looking for an upgrade the time to do so will be announced soon.
